▶ Important Information for Uber Courier Users

1. Weight, Size & Quantity Limits

• Maximum quantity: 8 bags or boxes.
• Courier (car): maximum combined weight of 20 kg per delivery.
• Courier Bike / Moto: maximum 7 kg / 50 × 45 × 30 cm; must fit in a backpack.
• Maximum vehicle delivery size: ~2 m³ (approximately 175 × 130 × 90 cm).
• XL: available in some areas only, for oversized items.

2. Item Value Limits

• General Courier: total item value ≤ AUD $100.
• Store Pickup: total item value ≤ AUD $500.

3. Address Changes

Pickup and delivery addresses cannot be changed after the delivery request has been submitted.

4. Receiving the Delivery

• For orders under 10 kg, small orders, or locations where parking is difficult, Uber Bike or Motorcycle may be a faster and more economical option.
• For vehicle deliveries, monitor the live delivery progress and be ready to receive the order when the driver arrives.
• Senders and recipients should meet the driver at the door or curbside.
• If Door Drop / Safe Drop is preferred, this must be clearly specified in the app message or delivery instructions.
• Drivers may refuse Safe Drop requests.

5. PIN Verification (available within the Uber app)

• PIN verification is used to confirm successful delivery.
• The recipient must provide the PIN to the driver.
• PIN verification may not be available in all situations.

6. Recipient Unavailable / Return

• If the recipient is unavailable, the driver may contact the sender through the app.
• Return arrangements may be required.
• Return fees may be charged to the sender.

7. Tracking

Real-time delivery tracking is available through the Uber app — visible to both sender and recipient.

8. Insurance

Uber does not provide package insurance, including coverage for loss, theft, or damage.

9. Driver Authority

The driver may refuse or cancel a delivery in cases of: overweight, oversized, cannot be loaded, poor packaging, safety issues, or prohibited items.

10. Prohibited Items

Important for KKETTA shoppers: Uber Courier does not allow raw meat, dairy products, or other easily-perishable food / beverages (and food past its Used By date). If your cart contains these, switch to Local Delivery or Store Pickup.

Other items Uber Courier will not deliver include:

• Medical / Health: pharmaceuticals (Rx and OTC), medical devices, pregnancy tests, masks, RAT tests, vitamins, nutritional / diet supplements, protein powder.
• Alcohol, tobacco, drugs: alcohol ≥ 0.5%, tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, CBD, cannabis-related products, narcotics, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
• Weapons: firearms, ammunition, weapons and weapon parts, knives, box cutters.
• Hazardous goods: explosives, fireworks, ignition devices, flares, hazardous chemicals, toxic or flammable substances, medical waste, biological hazards, blood samples, vehicle / industrial batteries.
• Tools: power tools, large construction tools, generators, motor-powered equipment.
• Financial / valuables: cash, gift cards, lottery tickets, coins, traveller's cheques, securities, gold, silver, jewellery, valuables.
• Living / plants: people, live animals, endangered species, regulated plants, harmful weeds, prohibited seeds.
• Other: fragile items, pornography, illegal / regulated / stolen / counterfeit goods, 18+-restricted items, items you don't have authority to send, irreplaceable sentimental items, items that may violate Community Guidelines or be threatening to the recipient.

Scheduled / advance booking is not currently available — Uber Courier is an immediate-request service only.
